If you had a grand to dump into your truck what would you buy? I have a grand to dump into my new one but right now i want to lean to focusing on mods that will help make the truck reliable and prep it for big power one day. Any suggestions?
I was thinking egr delete or oil cooler delete?

Victor reinz head gaskets $127. Arp studs $389. Oil cooler $183. Intake gaskets kit with turbo hardware $32. Injector orings $30. Oil screen (under oil cooler) $15. Find a buddy that can tig weld the egr cooler $ free beer. 3 gallons of oil and a oil filter and some ford gold coolant... That should soak it up. Then start saving for labor or tear into it.

Car will save you lots of money in the long run. I have a 94 escort that has paid for itself in just oil changes in a year or less.

i agree. save for all at once
So tell me...how long would it take you to save up $15,000-$20,000 for the "build"?
Then tell me how much you could save up before you had to spend it on something else besides the truck???LOL:poke:

It takes a ch!t load of money to build up these engines, even if you do most of the work yourself...
