I just bought a 2000 F250 7.3 powerstroke with a 6 inch lift on 37s. For the price I bought it for I knew that it was going to have problems as soon as I drove the 150miles home I had to replace the starter and cable because it had burnt off and the starter was fryed. I need recomendations on what shocks and struts to put on. And I also need some advice on the transmission it shifts really rough any thoughts on what I should do rebuild or replace? It only has 126k on it I flushed all fluids and refilled every thing and replaces the lines that were leaking but it shift so bad I'm wondering if it was run dry for a wile. Any imput would be helpful thanks.

Those trannies are notorious money pits. There's several aftermarket options available. Shocks you've got Bilstein, KYM, Rancho and Skyjacker are top names. A cheap dart you can throw is a can of Trans-X, I've seen that salvage and limp quite a few miles out of some shot transmissions
