8/11/07 I picked up mad_matt and we cruised up to Cecil County Dragway in Rising Sun Maryland for a fun filled day of excitement and to also hang out with some other Diesel Nuts. Mad_Matt had bought a ticket from Dockboy months ago in hopes of running his truck down the track. Well mad_matt is still in the stages of getting his motor back together and is feeling the need for speed so we cruised 1.5 hours at a speed of 75-80mph till we got to the dragstrip. Since mad_matt had the track ticket and no use for it he gave it to me as I had the need for speed.

Here is my best time of 5 runs
:tree:
R/T .573
60' 2.157
330' 6.420
1/8 10.037
MPH 67.60
1000' 13.171
1/4 15.839
MPH 84.41

Truck Weight 8340 lbs.

This was my first time at running down the track.:redspotdance:
My truck is a hog and it ran a little better than a snails pace.

Thanks mad_matt for all the support you have given me.

Me thinks your dyno numbers are low!!! That's a great run at that weight!!!
Dyno #'s are from Spring Fling 2007 and you were there also.
I used the HP calculator from another site and it calculated to
391 RWHP and 470 FWHP from weight and trap speed
and
415 RWHP and 498 FWHP from weight and ET

I have my time slips and my weight ticket from Flying J truckstop

All I can say is I love it when a plan comes together.

Ya and my PMR truck did not have over 450 RWHP or major boost leaks on stok fuel. Guess we'll never know. :gun: LOL

Joe,

So you are saying the dyno was way off? What does that do for Jason's numbers?

You need to quit going off 4 year old numbers and put that thing of yours on the track!! My bet is it runs around 15 flat.:gun: Better yet, show up at Fall Brawl and if your numbers are significantly different, I'll pay for your dyno runs!!:swordfight::redspotdance:

Bushwakd,

Thanks for showing up at Cecil!!:rockwoot:

By the way...smokemup's calculator(the only one I know of that's even close to accurate) say's 8340 lbs. at 84.14 mph is 320.9 hp. Within 4% of what you dyno'd;)
