Hypertech recently released their new line of tuners called Max Energy. They are now much smaller (about time) and are also internet upgradeable. Their latest release is for the 08 6.4L and it looks to be pretty impressive. The top setting is rated at 114 hp and 188 ft lbs of tq. bringing the rear wheel numbers to 414hp/716tq. They also claim you can tow with zero issues in this setting. The other two settings are: 44hp/72tq and 80hp/131tq. Anyone interested in one let me know and Ill give you a discounted price for some good feedback.

That being said, it appears Hypertech might have upped the ante with this one. Physically it looks much nicer than what I expected. If those numbers are real....I would think it would be a contendor.

The unit itself is rather small and cheap looking though better than their last box. They have also dropped the price to $379.99 which is kinda nice. Hypertech has worked decent on the Duramaxs for a while, looks like they are branching out now. I hope these numbers are correct as it would make a pretty good deal at under $400.

I dont think the price has changed any between the 6.0 an the 6.4 but Vivian would be the best person to answer that.

I thought I remember hearing that it won't eliminate regen it would just happen more often/as needed, like normal.
