In those kits that are now offered, I was wondering which ones work.

I don't have 2,000+ bucks for just oil so I was hoping I could buy another pump, send them both in and have them mated and then install the rest of it myself.

Question, will a 15* pump off a 97 work with my stock 17* pump?
I believe a 15* pump from an Early 99 mated with a 17* will work, but I can't seem to find a 17* or an early 99 15* pump so I was hoping ya'll could help.

Yes a 15* pump and a 17* will work fine together, just not as much oil as two 17* pumps. Terminator will occasionally build a setup with two used pumps if they are VERY clean and you ask VERY nicely. I would go that route if possible.

The Stealth DIY kit is affordable, but only if you already have two pumps, otherwise you'll spend nearly the same amount as if you just buy a built kit. From what I have seen recently (disassembled) I do not like the design of the Stealth coupler as well, but it does work.

I would not consider the Gen3 because of the gearpump that is used. The gear pumps are not ideal for the type of service they'll see in a HEUI fuel system and their efficiency is drastically affected when running high RPM. I have never run a Gen3, but have recently had one disassembled on my bench.

My Terminator kit has worked better than advertised since day one. I've been very pleased iwth it's performance and the customer service of Terminator Engineering. To this day it is my favorite mod thus far, made a huge improvement in the way the truck drove. Much more usuable power. than without big oil.

I drove my dads 7.3L with 4" exhaust, AIS intake, and Superchips in the highest setting just last week and could not wait to get back in my truck. His just seems so gutless compared to mine. Mine gets better mileage than his too

Yes you can do this, There is an OBS truck in SLAPS running his stock 15* pump and a 17* on his Stealth, works great and makes damn good power, you all know who it is,,,

I suppose that would depend on what kind of buy you get on the second pump,, if you buy a NEW One, yea, it will get pricey, Have patients and get one off ebay, you can have a Stealth DIY kit together very reasonably priced. (Several hundred less than a complete kit, (even the one you use YOUR Pump with)

Keep your eyes out on the for sale section of the different forums out there. I found my Stealth unit for $1550 delivered and it was still in the box(and plastic bags). I am using my old 15* pump(early 99) with the included new(rebuilt)17* pump. Works fine here and it handles my BD codes just fine. Just keep in mind that you may need to get your tunes re-burned for big oil. I don't know if TS has big oil tunes so that would require you to get a new chip. Just some food for thought.

I ran a 15 and a 17 for over two years on the 95. Now it has two 17's with all the updated parts.

Again it seems even though it was Dunbars dyno, something was screwy with it, numbers seemed to be all over....
and I KNOW Terrys were lower than ANYONE expected,, so no solid ones to repeat,,,, Yes everyone was dissapointed,

What about 2 15*'s ??? My friend has an early 99!

Also, we're not going for 500+ hp so a 17 and 15 should be plenty of oil!

On my 97 I have a 15 and a 17 I was running stage II splits so i know it takes some oil and it allways stayed over 3400.

Just keep in mind that you may need to get your tunes re-burned for big oil. I don't know if TS has big oil tunes so that would require you to get a new chip. Just some food for thought.

I like cats, have two. The " Here kitty ' thing is something you would know about if you watched the Nascar race at Indy. Tony keys up his radio and says " Here kitty kitty kitty" as hes realing Kevin Harvack in at the end. Oh and don't worry about hating horses, you either love them or hate them. SSome people hate them and that ok with me, makes us different thats all.
