Anyone know how to avoid the p0541 removed air intake heater code?

can you put a small value resistor between the relay and ground? to make it think it's still there?

I bet it is a time delay resistor. It works for so much time when the key is turned on. Then becomes a short. Need to simply use an ohm meter to ohm across a AIH relay while it is working, and a stop watch to see how long it works for.

I think something (resistor) needs to be in series with the switched hot pin on the AIH relay/solenoid, and provides a resistance to ground, the computer controls the timing with the switched feed to turn on the AIH relay/solenoid.

I'll try and dig my old AIH out in the shop and meter it out. then I can figure out what wattage is required.
