I've got a boost tube leak where the duct leaves the cooler , leaks a good little bit of oil . How much oil passes through the turbo and through the ducting? Seems like i get 3-4 drops on the drive way every time i run the truck. Going to pull it apart and clean / reconnect it asap , just wondering how much oil would be normal in the cold air side??

SteamFighter ? you a firefighter ? anyways its odd your getting that much oil pull your intake off and take a look inside that, also pull your boost tube coming off the turbo and see how much oil is in there, just a thought maybe a seal is going that could be leaking by. As for the CCV it shouldnt be dripping alot like that.

Nah , I'm a union Steamfitter. Took the nickname from working in underground steam tunnels , always fighting steam leaks . The oil is leaking from the cold side boost tube where it connects to the intercooler .

If the intake is restricted enough it will pull alot of crankcase oil out of it.
