Timing is referring to how many degrees before top dead center the piston making the compression stroke is when the injection cycle begins..... pulse width modulation is measured in milliseconds and that is what you are referring to by energizing the spool valves for a longer time, although doing so can also hurt performance and make for a smokier tune.....I am sorry for the hijack here but could you please explain "to much timing"? I dont get how we control timing on our trucks other than that term meaning that the injectors are energized longer so more fuel is injected per cycle. If that what it means then I'm good to go but just want to be sure. I keep seeing that term and need to know what it means. Thanks.
true..... there is a reason he is giving it to you...... in the end, you will really be getting it. just do a search on here and see how many folks have had bad luck with these junk tuners. I had an edge juice with attitude, I thought it was bad azz until (after being warned) I had to put a tranny in my truck. So listen to the advice, or do whatever you can afford......I wouldn't even put it on my truck even if I got it for free! :doh:
