Most of us are familiar with the High Voltage resistor mod for the 7.3 IDM. I did the mod myself recently and did notice improved throttle response. Today I found an aftermarket supplier for IDM's and they have options for upping the voltage from 110v to 150v. What puzzled me was the notation that anything above 120v requires performance injectors. Why do you think this is? For what it's worth, they do have a great price on reman IDM's for $129.

The company is allcomputerresources.com

It might just be that you won't gain any extra benefit after a certain voltage unless you are using bigger performance injectors. Read up on Swamp's HVHF IDM. It is 140v I think, but also a higher frequency so it can "send the signal to the injectors" more times in a given period.
