We are working on an '08 6.4, replaced the head gaskets and other gaskets. Bleed the system until all air seems to be out. Go to start it and air seems to get into the system and eventually stalls out. Have replaced fuel pump as well. Running out of ideas.

So my EOT is getting up to the 230s running 80mph without a trailer, while my ECT is 192 and never goes above that. I replaced the oil cooler 6 months ago and have a filtration kit on it that I change every 4K. Could I really need yet another oil cooler?

My 2008 6.4L PSD needs a new transmission, converter and flexplate. I found a good used 5R110W and converter out of a 2008 6.8L Super Duty. Would this be compatible with my truck? If so, would there be any differences I’d notice in shifting or anything?
