I had to go to Buffalo this weekend, and Friday I put exactly 20 gallons in and hit the road. To make a long story short I currently have 489 miles on the trip od, and my idiot light just came on today. She took another 20 gallons to fill. After the math.....I am getting 21.64 miles to the gallon. Extremely happy with the results. Goes to show the right combination can make a world of difference....Just sharing.;)

Oh, I think it is entirely possible that a high HP truck, driven to get MPG can get good MPG.

How many gallons are in the tank doesn't matter at all.
Fill all the way up....set the trip meter to zero...drive a while...fill up again.
Divide the miles driven by the gallons it takes to fill up again....

Because you would have to run the truck out of fuel and you will never get all the fuel out and you might have a 26 gallon tank but when you fill it up all te way to the neck it might hold 30 gallons so do you see why it is best to do it like UNBROKEN said.

I guess its better to do it his way if you have a stock fuel gauge/tank. But I got a digital fuel gauge that comes with my transfer tank setup so I can see exactly how many gals I got.

Dude...don't reinvent the wheel here. There's exactly 1 correct way to figure true mileage...and it's been posted in this thread....and not by you. :hehe:

Gale banks me and him are good friends. He makes great products that produce a lot of hp. I can get you a discount ;)

Then why don't you run one of his intercoolers and quick spool housings I bet that will help your turbo spool faster, make more boost and keep your truck from smoking.
