I have an 06 F350 as my work truck. Last night I started the truck drove it around the house and shut it off, but the starter was still trying to start the motor with the key off and out of the switch. It took me a little bit of time to find the relay to unplug it and by then the starter quit from being overheated. This morning I tried it again and the started stuck on again, but I was able to pull out the relay. Pulling out the relay did not change anything. Do the 6.0's have a redundant starter solinoid like the 7.3 or just the one on the starter? If no redundant solinoid is this just a bad starter? Or am I lookin in the wrong place?
