ok guys im going nuts i have to leave for florida on wens.

heres my problem im driving above 40 and let off the go pedal then the truck goes into engine break mode till it goes back to ideal then it starts to lug for about 5-7 seconds then it ideals just fine. i have pulled the chip and checked the fuel pressure with a guage at the wiper and it holds steady at 68psi. help please.. didnt do this till i replaced the gEM module considence???? maybe or not could this be the IPR

my othere problem is i could be driving along and this is with my lights on then all of a sudden my door locks goes nuts and theres all this clicking from the VSM. i have replaced the GEM module. didnt fix it it has been thrown around the fuse block??? any thoughts

2002 f-350 C.C. 4x4 7.3L reg. return. bts trans, chip OUT truck has 185,000 miles on it and i have drained the water sep. and it has a new fuel filter. and i have filled up with new fuel

guys please help i have to leave soon il buy the beer......................

you saying the gem module does have to be programmed??
thrust me i have had to walk away when working on the truck i was rady to wing a wrench at the truck a few times and i mean i ahve had to get in my jeep and drive away for an hour to cool off.

I don't think a GEM has to be programmed. Have you tried swapping around relays, they are mostly the same relay. Some are hidden really well, there are three or four where the firewall meets the floorboard hump. Real PITA to see, much less touch, or actually remove. Just a WAG.

i hear that about the relay im thinginng maybe the vsm since that has the relays in it that control the door actuators.

anybody have an idea about the running issue its not a bad problem but when i have to drive 2000 miles with 9 horses on the truck i want to make sure its not bigger problem starting.

I cant help ya with the truck but 9 horses 2000 miles is what I do for a living. Let me know if you need any help. Good Luck

the engine brake thing sounds like the TCC to me but not sure. something to look into.

thxs sapps for the help with the horses but i have to get to florida then get to ohi for congress for showing...
i cleaned the battery cables and that seemed to fix the electrical problem then i wet through the fuel system and found a ton of like sand in the fuel filter housing so i cleaned that out and drove to the barn and back today and it hasnt acted up so maybe it was that il drive it more and see. thxs for the help keep the ideass coming.
no codes that i know of yet
