Are you sure the PCM you swapped in there was good? Only a couple things can cause a PCM to not power up (no WTS light); a blown fuel bowl heater fuse or a bad PCM are the cause 99% of the time. I have seen one case where a faulty exhaust back pressure sensor caused the PCM to not power up while it was plugged in, but this was an isolated case and I suspect there were wiring issues going on. I would not get your hopes up, but you could try disconnecting the EBP sensor.

So heres the update. The pcm I swapped was good I took it out of my truck which runs and drives. So I know that parts good. ALL FUSES ARE GOOD! I started looking around and I disconnected the EBP sensor with no results. Then I disconnected the main harness that sits on top of the valve cover and what do you know the fuel pump and WTS light and SES light came back on and I had communication with a scanner. Obviously if I tried starting it, it wouldnt start because the injectors etc dont have power without that harness in. So I then disconnected the main power for the passengers side injectors and plugged the main power back in and it was fine with that connector unplugged as soon as I plugged in back in it would seem to short it out again. So I thought for sure I found the issue!! I put the old PCM back in the truck tighten all my plugs and tired to see if I had a WTS light with everything plugged in except the passengers side injector harness. Turned the key on and NO LIGHT!!!!! disconnected that Main power harness over the drivers side valve cover and the fuel pump and everything lit up again. If you can follow what Im saying what are your thoughts? Do you think I have some sort of a sort after that main harness since unplugging it makes the pcm act normal?? This really has me stumped I was going to change the injector valve cover harness but now Im not sure I want to get into that if that doesn't seem to be causing the problem any more. I AM STUCK!!!:mad:
Yes, there is likely a short somewhere which is disabling the PCM from powering up. As Sbluke said, disconnect each sensor one by one and check for the light.
