Hi im new to the sith and i just bought a 2001 f250. and here the past two or three nights here in iowa its been around 35 or so degrees. i have noticed on my way to work in the mornings that the truck seems to be missing and a big lack of power but in the afternoons on my way home with it around 60 or better it runs great. I was just wondering if anybody has had this problem and if you had found out what was causing it or have any suggestions to what it may be. And as far as i know the truck is stock performance wise and thanks in advance

Welcome to the Nation.

How far is your drive to work. These are cold natured beetchas. They do not like running when they are cold. Once they warm up, they love the cold air though.

its only around 15-16 miles one way, but i try and let it warm up around 5 minutes or so to get every thing warmed up just a bit before heading out.
