Bought a double aught F-250 SD 7.3 PSD today. What better place to begin my journey than here? I've been a wanter for quite some time. Couldn't really justify it. Finally decided that wanting it is justification enough. Anyway, it's a blue Lariat supercab short box 4X4. It's pretty much stock. I'm a newb, so I could use a basic primer on how to take care of it. I'll be here trying to learn how to get mild to moderate power increases just for the fun of it, and how to keep the 4R100 in one piece. I'm in SC. Motor on. TrailMarker.

John woods valve body for the 4r100

for moderate power increases like you are saying:

Cold air intake
straight pipe the exhaust
an EGT gauge
Custom tuned chip
