Greetings, I have an issue I could use some help with… (Big surprise on this site right?)

One of my trucks is a 2001 F350 7.3. It stopped shifting into 4H. I Have checked all the fuses and relays and plug connections, they all are OK. If I disconnect the batteries and then hook back up, and then put the key in the on position and turn the switch on the dash, the Tcase motor will cycle in and out 5 times (Which is the factory setting). But that is all it will do. It will not continue work after the 5 cycles are complete.

Any thoughts from the Power Stroke Jedi among you???

Yes, it only blows on defrost....but, it has been like that for the last couple years but I was still able to use the SOTF switch to engage the transfer case as long as I had the hubs locked in manually. Now the transfer case won't engage at all, manual hubs or auto. Should I still check the vacum line?
