Well they are blown again, we even had the head studs. Is there anything we can do this time to make it even stronger. We were just running the canned tunes from sct.

Bought new heads and put the factory gaskets after the first time
Did you have the new heads deck and did you buy factory heads. We bought new ford heads for the 6.0 and and had them check, they were within fords spec but not perfect so we had them deck

word...

'new' heads from Ford are not even close to being flat enough...

every head we install is surfaced F_L_A_T_ and smooth.

check the block as well...but if the heads weren't surfaced...that's probably your issue.

Yes she was studded and we were just running the canned sct tunes with a powermax. Egr deleted an all that goof stuff. Yes we Bought factory heads but I don't think they were resurfaced. Put the turbo on about 6months ago but we've been studded for over a year. We ran bully dog for a little bit after the first time it blew but then changed to sct

Sounds like warped heads or your tq. Specs are off... The old arp studs called for 245 tq the new one call for 210 it depends on what lube they came with. The studs you got could have been the shelf a while.

That's a good point. Is there anything we can do for more bulletproofing since we are already in the engine
