I pulled a small load (4k trailer, 2.5k rumber deck, and 2000lbs winches, 17-18k gross) with my truck set on the standard street tune from ID. Temps all fine, road it pretty hard for 350 miles in 101*. No leaks, hiccups, heat issues etc.

The engineer that designs the factory studs deserves a swift kick to the nuts.:badidea:

I disagree the guy that decided to cast the decks and the heads too thin should be shot in the nuts.I have scene to many sets of heads cracked . Blocks look kinda thin in the deck area I had heard some people saying the decks on the blocks are thin and they distort and cause issue under hard use.

I like the 08's also and the engine seems good but I don't want all of that smog junk so i will just keep my 7.3 for now.

Well, The tranny's are breakable, just not as easy. My truck is currently in gettin a new tranny with only 22,100 on the odometer.
