It appears I need to remove the injectors to install the top studs. Or am I missing something????

If I turn the injector can I make it around them or do they have to come out?

HEEEELLLLPPP. Boy did this one sneak up and bite me in the ass...

Pull-um. Are you lifting the cab or drilling through the fire wall, or is the engine out?
Everything is in the truck....I was going to try to lift/lower the engine/tranny somewhat like the D-max guys. It is said to work.

Yep...
Indeed it does. I didn't find that one out until I was in there either, not that it was a big deal since my injectors were already out anyway.

I used the same method of unbolting the trans and motor, then rocking it. Seemed to work well.

Let us know if that works. It'ill save a lot ot time.
Take the right motor mount loose from the cross member, two bolts and take the two bolts out of the tranny cross member. Take the two bolts loose on the fan shroud as well. Put a block of wood against the exhaust manifold and lift. It worked great.

I did the same thing on the passenger side plus I took of the evaporator cover. The only thing that looks daunting is doing the rear valve springs. I hope it works or I am going to go stock and blow the damn thing up on purpose.
