On my 02 7.3 the wiper motor works fine but it keeps blowing the 30 amp maxi fuse. Where do i start looking? I just dont understand how there could be a short. Has anyone had the problem?

the multifunction switch has a lot of moving parts not to mention the wires from the colum down that get moved with tilt , you need to get you a wiring diagram and trace them down its about the only way i know to find it . Good luck

those multifunction switches are a fault in the older SD trucks
I replaced mine a few years ago
I don't remember it blowing a fuse, though

I had the plug from the harness that goes to the wiper motor short out and cause all kinds of weird things to happen on my 250.
