they were under the search F-250 harley davidson. I think they were around $80.00 I emailed the guy about them a while ago. He said he could make them any color that you wanted.

I thought the orginial flames were painted on from the factory. Some "special process" that was used was the big issue.

Ford may sell a set of flames for use on the HD trucks, but the OEM process is to paint them on. Why drop extra cash for the same product if found cheaper?

The "real" flames are pianted on only! You can go to your ford dealer and get the templates to paint them on, they do not have to be wet on wet, they just get clear coated 2x when done. The kit is pricey though, just had my pass door redone under ins and it was +/-$600 for 1 door. If you want it done right get the templates, stickers are for posers! 50,000 truck $20 stickers? do the math.

After seeing this thread I went out and felt mine- smooth as paint :ford: And if I was going to copy the HD Edition I'd do it right and have it painted myself, but then that's just me I reckon- I hate doing anything cheaply, it always bites me in the arse:shrug: I've actually been thinking about having "real flames" painted down the sides and on the hood.
