Myself along with a few guys on the powerstroke.org are trying to set up a GTG/wrenching session here in the valley. We havent made any in stone plans so were open to suggestions!
We were thinking maybe at a park so we can BBQ up some stuff and just BS...

But then again it would be nice to have a shop so we can wrench a little bit ya know?

Anyone interested? I know about 10 guys so far that are for sure coming. I think I will open it up to all makes of diesels because i have some cummins buddies

my first thought:

We all meet at a local park here in Canby called champogee park. The willametter river is real close.... Its a big open parking lot with lots of grass and such. Has covered areas if it happens to rain. We can get the trucks lined up for pictures, BS, cook some food, maybe wrench a little if anyone needs something done.... Anyone think this sounds good?

You can mapquest the park to see how far it is from you!
heres the link for the park: Oregon State Parks and Recreation: Rates

well the un official date for the GTG is the 30th! And it will be happening here:
Fleet Service Northwest - Home
mapquest the address on that site to see if you can make it. The date is subject to change but thats a rough idea for a start

Yep it sure is... but you never know, lot of guys just read and don't post :)
yeah thats what im afraid of actually! its not exactly UNLIMITED room. So i was hoping to have a good count on how many trucks to plan for, i guess i will just have to exaggerate on it so that the ones that are silent will be accounted for

but it is so tough to tell what the numbers will be. Either way people will either back out or join at the last minute. Just don't worry too much about it. It will be fun either way. If you run out of food, nobody is going to be mad.. LOL

If you don't feel like messing with cooking there is an old family owned restaurant with really good eats 5 miles north of Hubbard on Hwy 99.
