I know there's a ton of these and I looked but I couldn't find 1 w/symtoms like mine.

The 97 has been starting harder and harder. I have to cycle many times and it smokes like crazy. When it starts it smooths out instantly. The WAIT light only stays on for maybe 4sec.

Yah I'm going to test it, i was just curious if what I described sounded like GP relay. As much as it smokes while cranking, it's just wierd. Like 3sec worth and it envelopes the entire truck! Never seen that b4.

sounds like the relay to me. or the plugs themself. not too hard to change though

Thanks, I've done them plenty. Just wondering if it could be weak HPOP. When it fires it doesn't stumble or anything just vrooOOOMMM like it didn't know it had a prob. GP's and relay usually come with a stumble or 2 as the cylinders equalize.

I'll do the check today.
