I'm finding UPS to be very expensive. Like over $200 for a 75 pound part.

I just shipped rotors 65 lbs across the country for $30 UPS also you save alot using paypal to ship your packages on average ups is 5 - 10% cheaper if I print and pay through paypal I remember it was $20 cheaper to ship a set of aluminum heads using paypal to ship ups then to goto the ups store or even ups's website

Greyhound is also at times a viable shipping option for large items. I have used forward air before to ship a pallet of tires and wheels.

HOW DID YOU DO THAT ?

Do you have an account with them ? Discounts ?

Was it part of a purchase ?

Just cost me $39 to ship a set of 8 fuel injectors from MA to AZ through UPS. Exactly 25 lbs.

I just tried this for the first time to send some oddly shaped exhaust pieces(an X-pipe for an OBS Lightning)that would've cost a fortune with UPS due to the size, but with Greyhound ended up about a full 1/3 off of the UPS price.

They didn't have much in the way of tracking for the pricing option we chose, but the buyer didn't seem to care.

We chose the "space available" method of shipping. If we would've tacked on another $25 we coulda got tracking for the entire trip.

I'll find out if it all works out in the next couple days. If it does, I think it'll end up being the method I choose for bigger/heavier packages.

UPS and Fedex are getting ridiculous.

Good to know. I may be shipping a rather large item in the near future. I'll have to look into this.
