Going back to car hauling

Hey guys, I'm planning on going back to my old job car hauling. I use to have a 2000 Pet 5 pack. I sold it and started a new business, after 3 years now I'm selling this business and going back to trucking. I made money so I'm going to take it easy and just work 4 days a week. My plan is to get a 99-2002 F550 with a 7.3 motor and a 3 car Infinity trailer for now.
This is the trailer I have my eye on.

That's a nice trailer seems shorter than the traditional 3 car wedge that I see around here. That is something that I have considered so keep this thread posted.
what kinda money can you make hauling cars? you doing hauls from auction to dealer or what.

how much does a trailer like that run cost wise and what is it called.

thanks for the info.
This trailer is only 35 feet long, most 3 car trailers are 38 to 40. Its not as heavy duty as the Kaufman pro series but its much lighter. Infinity has this modal listed for $13,999 but they want $1000 for the winch. I use to run a Peterbuilt 330 5 pack

Good luck! I just started my business up for hauling cars and general freight as well. I haven't been on the road yet, still putting all the legalities in order. I got my DOT#, MC# and all the other stupid permits they want. Right now I will be starting out light until I retire out of the Army in a few months. I have a 2012 F250 SRW, and a 24' PJ car hauler. Eventually I will step up the equipment, but for now I need to tread lightly.
I've been in car hauling for 16 years. R8rone, DOT is killing guys nationwide right now in anything less then 1 ton dually's. Make sure you have ifta and apportioned tags. if you don't have a CDL, be damn sure not to exceed 10k# on that trailer. They will break you in half and unload the trailer....
It was my dream to become an hauling truck driver when I was small, I use to love seeing those big trucks hauling lot of cars at a time, but I am an engineer now and hires a auto transport company to haul my own vehicles to the new locations. But I still feels like driving a hauling truck. I hope some or the other day I will definitely get a chance to drive that.
