Ran her around for about an hour yesterday (all city driving), and tried to give the truck a chance to learn the new tune (idp race had been on there for about 5k). I tell you what, once the truck started to pick up the tune it ran amazing.
Most people say "Eric's tunes run better than stock", their lying, his tune is more powerful than stock but it does not run better than stock, atleast mine.
Yours on the other hand runs awesome. I can see this really help with city mileage, my truck used to never lock into 5th gear. Yesterday I about crapped my pants when I'd seen that I was doing 1200 rpm @ 40 mph.
How low do you have the shift pressure? Or is that the way to tune runs? I used to have Eric's shift pressure down 20%, but it still wasn't satisfactory. Your tune though, definitely shifts as good, if not better than stock. Unlike Eric's , the only way you can tell if your shifts is by the sound of the motor.
I won't be able to tell mileage for couple weeks though. It does feel like Eric's tune had a little more power, but if I remember you told me this tune was tuned down some for mileage. I didn't get the best look at the gauges, but I think at WOT it was around 1350 degrees @ 28 psi @ ~80mph.
Anyways, if your interested in writing me a full blown race tune I'd be interested. Wish I would have found the greener grass sooner. I am studded with and EGR delete. Hopefully this email did not feel like an electronic BJ.
