I cant tell which wires are them, and can I wire a fuse in instead?

Just locate the fuse links on the solenoid and give each a tug. If the wire stretches then the link is bad.

A starter relay will not work since it is case grounded and you need a case isolated one. The relay gets its ground from the PCM so it does not need to be grounded to work.

Just put the right relay in the glowplug or a Stancore.
