hey I have a 1997 f250 7.3L 5 speed manual. here is the problem when I am driving down the road and hold my speed there is a funny sound that starts and I drop speed by about 4 mph it also has a slight vibrating in the stick and pedal but when I accelerate it goes away I have no clue what's going on any thoughts would help because I have no clue what it is

If it bothers you, you can reach by the turbo and unplug it. It's not needed.

In my opinion, it just wastes more fuel with it plugged up while it's activated than it benefits you by helping the motor warm up. On that note though, I. still got mine plugged up and haven't got around to unplugging it.

Mine is on a switch, so I just start it close it and walk back inside for 10 minutes.

That seems like a good idea. How did you wire it up? Just as simple as cutting the wire and then splicing the switch in?

I believe so. I did it about 4 years ago, pretty sure that is how its done. Then just tape off the pcm side.
