ok sweet cheaper then the one im looking at 199.99 on amazon, will these pump work great for my truck i seen where they have a 9 to 11.5 psi and i tho the idi was 4 to 7

I would stay away from Amazon for something that I would need to depend on.

Way too many knockoffs and pieces of crap with name brand stickers. Not to mention people getting a new product and sending back the piece of junk that they replaced. The Amazon inspectors don't even look in the box, they just send it out to the next sucker.

Ok thanks for the info, but will these pump put out tomuch psi

i have had that pump on my 88 for over 20 years. 4-7 psi is idle pressure. the 40285 will be running 0 pressure at 3 grand.
the 40222 will be around 4 psi at 3 grand.
if anything, you may just have to retard the timing a smidge with the 40222.
but like i said, i never saw a need to with mine.
