Who sells the front end limiters?
Do you think I will need them?

I'm trying to get set up for DITD on September 1st.:tree:

i ran them for awhile and it just caused alot of hop, both pulling and racing.

Mine removed ALL the hop when drag racing. The take off is awesome. Pm Bunting and if he's not selling 'em anymore I can sell you the type I have.

even tightend down all the way it hopped on launch so bad that the front right limiter always fell out going down the track. After that happened three times i threw them in the scrap pile.

the only ones I have seen are the long nylon straps for lifted 4x4 to keep the axel from falling down to low , when the truck is air born.

I've modified mine since these but they're essentially the same thing. J-hook goes into a factory hole on the frame above the leaf pack, bracket goes on the leaf pack, and you tighten the not down on the bracket. I usually just tighten it until it starts getting a little tough to turn with the wrench. The J-hook in the fist pic is broke but you get the idea.

and at what hp level do you need to think about these.

Check with Bunting first, but if he's not selling them I can sell you a set.

Pretty much if your wheels hop when you launch, the limiters should take care of it. Bunting actually used them for sled pulling to keep the front end from coming up, so you can use them for that too.

What Elmo is not saying is the original BWD version broke from all the DI power and he had to have XXX heavy duty versions made.

Danny, I looked at your first picture and have a suggestion. I think the original plug from the bwd version is the main problem, perhaps try a three-prong grounded one next time.
