Hey guys I have a 1999 ford F250 SD with the 7.3 of course and with the ZF6 tranny. I was driving it the other day and noticed that each time I would hit a little bump in the road at any speed there would be a nice clunk on the drivers side. I replaced the on frame bushing for the sway bar and that didnt help. I have checked the ball joints and they seem to be fine. I am thinking it is the sway bar links that need replaced? But would that also cause the truck to be all over the road (touchy steering)? What do you think? Thank you!

Check track bar bushings?
:whs:

That or spring bushings are about the only two things that would make noise then cause the truck to wander around the road.

Just jack up the front of the truck and start grabbing parts and checking for movement.
