ok i have replaced my Vechicle Security Module due to worn out relays. I have programmed my remotesto the new module but now when i have the key just in the ingetion the dingers is beeping when the door is closed and the dinger is off with the door open how do you program it the other way around????
the other thing i need to change is the dome light stays on for 5 minutes no matter the postion whether the key is in and driving or just in the driveway?????
How do i fix this thanks

whenever you replaced a module on a newer ford vehicle u have to get it reprogramed at the dealer using a ids tool . im pretty sure that is what needs to be done to fix your problem.

your best bet is going to be take it to the dealer and have them program it to the truck.
the diagnostic tool that they use is the WDS and they are sweet and probably take about 10 min at the most.

I thought the new VSM where already programed sounds like yours isn't just take it to the dealer and have them do it.

Don't have that in my truck, but from what I have seen, dealer is the only answer.
