Does anyone have experence with this product, is it worth the price tag. How hard of a install is it.
Thanks in advance for your input.

Would you benefit from this product if your motor is already balanced?

I've got several of them out on 7.3L trucks with very positive feedback.

You have to balance the engine with a stock damper and then install the FD after. You can't balance the rotating assembly with the FD installed. In short, yes, an already balanced engine can still benefit.

Definately worth it, truck revs faster, coast easier and just smoother thoughout the whole rev range.

Well since Mine is also ballanced and is being built to handle a few ponies I'd say spend the coin. It kept my crazy PMR motor together for longer than most. The Install is a snap if you have a good puller/installer. You can rent/borrow them form autozone....

BTW it is on my new High Dollar race motor also. :D Cheap extra insurance.

While you are in there replace your LPOP. It's anoth 70 bucks of insurance. JMO.

So the damper really wouldn't benefit on a stock motor ?

A good damper will help any engine, stock or otherwise. Reguardless of whether the engine has been balanced or not you will still have vibrations due to harmonics among other things. Fluid filled dampers have been used on high horsepower engines for years. Cummins and Detroit have been using them for 40+ years. They work.

Smoothes out harmonic vibes. Or a slightly imperfect balancing job.
