I think a before and after has merit for sure. I do not trust one single bit the butt dyno!!!. With the tunability you can have a truck that feels like it pulls harder in an area but actually has less peak or on that has more under the curve but a higher peak. Only a dyno can compare those things.

Thanks wise grasshopper.

Your X has about 100cfm or so more than i have, dont know about the turbine side. But yours should be a strong runner.

IF you could post that vid i sent you that would give others a idea of how it runs. That was about 3/4 throttle run

Let E see if I can get it uploaded ya. Not home yet but have a internet signal so...

Posted for Addison.

Figures I spend the last 15 mins figuring out how to do this remotely. Go to up load it and the guy from alaska beats me to it LOL

Look how smooth the speedo needle sweeps thru the range once he goes to 3/4 pedal

Somebody needs to shoot that SOB!
Alright fine, I Retract my statement. Step away from the HK. :gun:I already have enough scars to last a lifetime.....

Addison- Where you getting this done at? And IIRC didn't we we talk on the phone quite a bit last year before I got shipped to Africa and had to shut down DFA?

I agree that with or without tuning getting a Baseline Dyno done is a good thing. A referance point from which to know which way he is going with any other changes- Much better then "I was able to lay rubber for 3.5 seconds into 2nd gear instead of only 2.5 seconds." Although that is much more fun.

I think he was refering to shooting Murphy.

Alright its done.

489hp 10:15am
484hp 10:18am
483hp 10:20am
497hp 10:21am

no torque numbers cause i found out when i showed up thats its a inertia dynojet 442x i believe. Only made 33-33 psi boost and 1100-1200 degrees on the pyro.

Side note it makes 51-52 psi boost on the street and 15-1600 degrees

Shoot... Take it up to Fast specialtys in Vancouver...

I was only 100hp off. That kind of sucks dude. Obviously the dyno isn't loading you down enough, or the running it doesn't know how to set it up for Diesel trucks. You have to be closer to 550-575 in reality.

Not sure what is available in the Salem area, but there is Fast Specialties in Vancouver that does Diesel dyno events and seem pretty competent, or also HP freaks in Portland even though they specialize more in imports, but are a big time shop that has some big diesel stuff. Maybe I am missing a shop somewhere?

Oh yeah, DFI in Scappoose. Literally around the corner from my house.

jody's 250/100 tunes on the first two runs and swamps 350/300's on the last two.

maybe i will but i'm happy with it and its a 497hp truck cause thats what the dyno told me. Whether thats wrong or not who knows???

Thanks and i will dyno again with the right tunes once i get them.

Take it to PIR and run it down the track. That will tell you what you need to know.
