Meant to post this up sooner but forgot. Please excuse it being in multiple forums, I know some ppl only lurk in certain forums.

I've seen plenty of singlecab shortbed powerstrokes being used by the Navy down at Norfolk, and just seen a few used by the Marines here at Quantico this past week. They do have stakeside beds which might make a difference, but still...

Anybody got some leads on getting these factory shortbeds?? Maybe get em all used up and drop a built motor in? :thumb:

Now thats a shorty truck pretty cool! Wonder if you could find a retired truck like that and swap gears. Nifty

Reg cab long box is 141" I believe. Those bobtails would be way too short to drag, not directionally stable at all.

I see those little dudes running around the air force base 20 minutes from my house, every one is a diesel too! I'd love to see one with some Mickey's out back, it'd be like the penny cars that would do flips lol

Factory single cab short beds have been available in south america for years.
Here's a 2005 (yes, '05) F100 (yes, 100) from Brazil.
