I have a 99 f550 7.3 with a 4 r100 what standard transmission can I swap in?

ZF-5 or ZF-6 speeds were factory in 99 standard trans was 6 speed later in the year, but the first couple months they came with the 5 speed.

I fixed it for you. I've never heard of an XF transmission. It was a ZF.

And you have to get one from a 7.3L or it won't bolt to the engine.

Why would you want to? Better off with replacing or rebuilding your 4R100 with a Dieselsite Legendary.
