Can you swap the rear axle of an f250 and an f350 to make the f250 a dually?

Yes, you will also need the spacers for the front if you want to use the same wheels all the way around.

FYI, OBS F250 and F350 use a Sterling 10.25 for both SRW and DRW
SD's use a 10.5 Sterling for SRW and a Dana 80 for DRW, lug pattern changed in 05 for DRW trucks
C&C trucks have different width axles than a truck with a bed

Why not run spacers and dual wheels on a single axle and save the axle?

people use them all the time. Our county has used them on dump truck/plow trucks.

how big ?

a DRW axle is 6 inches shorter than a SRW

I wouldn't want 3 inches of leverage on my studs not to mention the duals will add even more leverage over a single rim and tire

I might be missing some math ?

what do u need for a DRW mimic on a SRW ?

how about centurion's? they all used spacers for their duallys. I can't remember the width I sold the truck 6 months ago?
