Hey guys, I have a white 06 and the rear fender on exhaust side gets a little black and hazy from exhaust soot and heat, anyone know how to get this off? I've heard wd-40?? but wasn't so sure about it

i've been lucky enough to have been able to wash the soot off with normal car wash soap & a scrubby sponge & a bit of time. best i remember, after that, I waxed the hell out of it & it wipes off pretty easy now!
i'd like to hear more on this, i love learning about surface care & treatment!

You can use 0000 steel wool on tips (not paint) and you can use soap and water as mentioned, diluted degreaser to correct amounts or a pre diluted degreaser. Also, you can use some polish and a buffer if you know how and dont think you will damage the paint otherwise put some on a microfiber towel and rub it on and it will go away!
