Hello

I recently purchased my truck...LOVE IT!!
I also bought a used edge CTS to keep an eye on the deltas for my drive home (1700 Miles unknown condition of truck) and also to keep an eye on things.
My deltas were on average 7* and around town 4*

Today I was playing around and wanted to try a new program to see how it affects mileage.
when I goto change the level I get a ....."Programming voltage error"
and it is unable to change the level

Any thoughts??

Another question I have is about PHP doing a upgrade on the CTS to allow for an egr delete.
Should I get the ficm updated by him first?? or is this not required?
or should the pcm be updated?

I have been reading many posts and even php's site you guys are great with helping people and myself!
to clarify something for me .....

FICM,PCM,EDGE---- which should I get tuned? where is the best place to have the strategy?
I am used to tuning gas turbo cars (80's technology) with a moates quarterhorse attached to the J3 port...the tune goes to one spot

sorry for the newb questions but I got to start somewhere:pointlaugh:

PHP can do quite a bit on all those options. For the costs I'd suggest PCM/FICM tuning and using the CTS for custom power tuning files.

Thanks!

I am thinking PHP would be a good place to go since I am using a CTS and he can upgrade it and put in some tunes
