So I'm getting ready to do the foil delete and was wanting to paint the tubes. Which paint would be best high heat, regular rattle can? Is painting where the boots slide on a good idea? Any help would be appreciated.

Pretty much any paint will work. Some guys have used off the shelf spray-cans that matched the exterior of the truck, engine paint, or implement paint. They all seem to stand up to the underhood temps that the pipes are subjected to. I usually mask off the area where a boot/hose meets a pipe so the seal isn't lost should the paint separate from the surface.

I like the engine block paint. It seems to have a better shine and seems to hold up alot more abuse.
