Anyone use one of these before? I fix cars on the side and thought this would be a neat gadget to have in my rig whenever I might use it on a car (not my truck I have the terminator scan gauge).
Is it as useful as the Android App claims it is?
thanks.

yes look in the aftermarket section under torque app.
but they don't have the pid's (the computer files) to monitor other cars ..it will pull codes etc..

you can always check the torque app forum as well.

cool thanks! Ya its just to throw in the glove box incase someone I know randomly has a check engine light... The Android market has a cool app that does all obd2 or so they say. The youtube reviews are pretty solid. The crappy part is I wont get the ELM till like the middle of Aug since its coming from CHINA. lol. Oh well for 12$ or whatever I paid I dont think I can go terribly wrong...

Both my adapters came in less than a week, works great on 6.0's and other non-obs 7.3 trucks lol

I read some people saying they had lag issues with the elm
I ordered it a month or two ago and have no problems at all.
I use it to monitor a few things on my 6.0 plus its alot cheaper than a code reader
