I know that my fuel pressure should be running between 50 and 60. Well my CTS is showing the injector pressure while driving at 48 to 50. Is this okay to measure fuel pressure this way or do I need to put a 1/8" tapped fuel filter cap and use the EAS pressure sensor?

Ohh.. No. Its telling you the voltage going from the FICM to the injector solenoid(s)
makes better sense now. Your numbers are normal.
For fuel pressure, you will have to use a kit similar to this.
