i have a friend who layed down a 14.6 in the quarter mile. he has an edge evolution and snows water meth. i find this time hard to believe but he ran 2 15s than layed down that 14.6. to top it all off the truck is sitting on 38s and is a six speed manual. i just thought this was hard to believe how about everyone else?

My truck can't turn that time just like it sits out in the parking lot right now.


Not to knock his truck or to despute the issue, but physics leans harshly against him pulling that time in a 6 speed truck.

I just checked on the Diesel Garage calculator (that has always proven accurate for me) and it would take my truck (7200lbs) 380rwhp to pull that time. Unless he's driving a reg cab as well, on 38's chances are he's even heavier than that.

380 wheel on AD's with some meth is possible I guess. But I wouldn't call it probable.

Best I ever did at 40% meth and a BB turbo on 37's was 351hp/890tq

I had the hottest tune Tadd could write for a stock injectored truck... Without spray I doubt you would get those numbers...

nope no custom tunes he ran 2 15s then layed down the 14.6. running jodys 140 tune i ran a 15.9. i saw this with my own eyes or i wouldnt have believed it. hes running a 50% blend of meth and ive been trying to tell him that setup is not good for his truck but he never listens.

If it's on video, did you personally just time it? That's always a spot on test. If you start a stopwatch when he leaves and hit it again when he traps it, and it's a 14.5....case closed.
