From what I gather (using the search function), the best way to band aid fix these transmitions with out doing a complete rebuild is to add a big oil cooler, upgraded valve body, new torque converter,fluid change and new filter.
I realize if the clutches are bad there is nothing you can do with out doing a complete rebuild, but what about fluid additives?
Any other upgrades that would help?
Let's here some recommended brands of parts and fluids.

Having a sig would help..more info.

Never use fluid additives..

BTS VB and our 6.0 Tq converter make a good combination.
Use a 31 row 6.0 trans cooler.

Thanks Carry. What about fluids, such as staffers?? I know that is what Brian At at BTS uses. Is that the only type that is worth running? What about something like the Banks trans command or similar units? Are they worth having ( from a reliability stand point)?
