Air testing the transmission and the forward clutch was leaking air. Pulled it back out to find the "leak" is a hole drilled in the little cup plug in the forward drum.
Apparently some do this to increase lubrication, but I know some others remove the plug, tap the hole, and install a set screw because apparently the plug blows out sometimes.

Need to know which it correct so I can put this thing back together.
