Thats also why I dont all ways use tow chains. He could have fliped his truck too. If he wouldnt of had them hooked up the trailer would have just said bye bye truck.

Saw something like that coming home from a sled trip in Michigan a couple years ago. It was windy and icy, cars in the ditch everywhere and we ended up pulling off and getting a room cause it was so bad. Anyways there was a Suburban with a 4 place trailer(24ish ft long) laying on its roof in a ditch with the Sub still hooked to it, ass end was prolly 6-7ft off the ground. Looked like one hell of a ride.

Its just amazing what the wind can do. We've been pushed over a couple lanes before with the sled trailer, if the center of gravity wasn't so low i'd say it woulda flipped like that trailer did.

had the wind take a trailer and my truck over like that in 04
it was a 35' camper and my 00 SD.
bent the hitch, trialer come unhitched, and broke the safety chains
