the shop has put two of these turbos on and both have shelled out within THREE miles! same truck, stock inj. only intake, exh and chip. in my theory there should be no way this happens. stock turbo with aluminum wheel. im at a loss here guys any input will help.

what happened to the origional turbo? was it still working fine ?

if I had to guess I would say for some reason the turbo isn't getting enough oil maybe something dropped in the oil port while they were swapping it out

I am thinking would almost have to be oil related to kill two that fast.
There may be an oil restrictor that is suppose to be in there to hold the right amount.
Maybe not , perhasp you could ask a vendor who sells them what the proper install is .
Seems like tarm might have one maybe he could chime in.

the original was working fine but was sent in as a core before this happened.
im quite sure of something getting in the oil supply line during first install or removal.
