hey guys im in need of some guidance i just bought a dodge truck for my secondary vehicle and it has a 5 " lift ut the guy said that the drive shaft needs to be extended because it fell out of the transfer case i think i needs to be about another 6"s longer than the stock one what can i do to extend that shaft any ideas?

Drive shaft shop is your best bet. They will cut the yokes off and build a new d/s and balance it. I think it cost about 200 bucks when I did it. It's not too expensive if the old yokes can be reused, I think one of mine had to be replaced though.

I have tried to do it myself by cutting my d/s in 1/2 and forcing it into a just barely larger pipe, then weld up the ends. However, I ended up with a vibration at higher speeds.
