The bar that connects to the pitman arm is the drag Bar? Both ends of the drag bar have grease fittings. I grab the drag bar and there is play at both ends of the drag bar. Really loose at the pitman arm connection. Should there be any play in this drag bar? or does this drag bar have replacable bushings?
Ball joints are shot and the truck wanders down the highway and starts vibrating at certain speeds, then goes away if I slow down 3-5 mph. I just noticed the drag bar play today.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Pete

I plan to purchase the moog kit with seals for $303 that I heard about here on the nation. Just want to fix anything I can while addressing the ball joints

Some might call that the drag link, but if you were to go to the parts house to purchase a new one they will call it an inner and outer tie rod end. Expect to spend around $130 for the long one and $90 for the short one (pitman side).

They are not re-buildable, and can cause a wander if they are loose.
